Five years ago, Neor Tiku co-founded the Connect Vancouver Foundation, a grassroots youth-run non-profit, committed to providing free phones and phone plans to Vancouver’s most marginalized groups. Neor strongly believes in the power of technology and its ability to mobilize change within homeless and high-risk communities in Vancouver. Today, Connect Vancouver operates through a team of six at the University of British Columbia, and strongly believe that charitable causes must create tangible local impacts; allowing this principle to drive their work.
